● 1-2 years yoga experience

Job description:

Yoga is an exercise and meditation technique which is based around finding balance of mind through breathing, posture and stretching. As a teacher, you would instruct your students in the art of yoga in relation to the important impact it has on athlete’s flexibility and muscle joint mobility; strengthens, tones, and builds muscles; corrects posture; strengthens the spine; improves muscular-skeletal conditions, increases stamina, creates balance, increases circulation, improves heart conditions, improves breathing disorders, and boosts immune response. The ‘positions’ are the key element of yoga, and they are supplemented by controlled breathing, visualization techniques and meditation sessions, all of which you will teach your students as part of your job description. You will be expected to plan lessons, instruct all skill levels from beginner to advanced, and be able to adapt your knowledge to suit individual clients.

Instructor Responsibilities:

● Develop safe, professional and comprehensive Yoga programs

● Monitor and instruct clients during classes and private training sessions

● Motivate members to continue working toward their fitness goals by consistently attending yoga classes

● Demonstrate professionalism, resilience, and optimism

● Maintain yoga areas to promote an exceptional facility experience

● Understand and teach the relation of yoga and athleticism

● Strengthen industry knowledge through ongoing professional development
